- "The Perfect Telescope is...a small apochromatic refractor" A letter to the editor published some years ago in the "Amateur Telescope Making Journal" issue #10. The original letter is accompanied by a sketch showing an original TeleVue "Genesis" 4" refractor (introduced 1988) on a simple Panoramic head with wood wood tripod. The letter relates the authors long experience in the hobby, and his appreciation of a simple but capable telescope. Author Beat Kuechler was then 73 years old, living in New Jersey.

- TeleVue Genesis SDF and Renaissance SDF Telescopes Operating Guide, the illustrated seventeen (17) page guide by TeleVue explains their fourth generation 4-inch refracting telescopes, and how to configure these telescopes for use with the numerous visual and photographic accessories. The SDF series were TeleVue's first 4-inch apochromatic telescopes, produced from 1993 to 1996. This moderate-resolution scan by Company Seven is of the guide provided with a beautiful brass Renaissance SDF telescope exhibited at Company Seven's showroom.
