• 15 AUGUST 2002: In celebration of Meade Instruments 30th Anniversary a temporary promotion was instituted effective 15 August 2002, and remaining in effect where the customer buys any of the Meade Instruments telescopes specified by the program, and that customer may purchase one set of Meade Instruments premium-grade Super Plössl eyepieces with carrying case for only $99.00!

  This is a factory direct promotion where the customer buys a telescope from Company Seven, and then provides a copy of the sales receipt along with the product registration card, and payment directly to Meade Instruments in California. The eyepiece set and the carrying case are then sent directly from Meade Instruments to the customer. One set of eyepieces can be provided with each of the telescopes included in the promotion - there is no limit to how many telescopes you may buy each will be able to take advantage of the offer!
