Background Information of Sample Image FilesThe following is a sample collection of CCD images taken by BIG cameras. Those of you with third party software (such as those which we offer by Software Bisque and Seghal) may work with some of these images. In order to "Test Drive" the SBIG CCD camera operating software, then one must first download the Camera Control and Image Processing package if you have not done so already, and lack third party sotfware. And then download the image files. The image files available below are compressed or stored in a format that is readable by either Macintosh, or PC computers. These images once decompressed are in the SBIG native format and can then be viewed with the appropriate software.
