ST-237 User's Images
Because many of the most beautiful CCD
images seen in magazines and on the internet are captured with top of the line cameras, it
can leave the impression that one must use the most expensive cameras to obtain high
quality images. The ST-237 is a lower price camera that is nevertheless a high
quality instrument capable of both high resolution greyscale and high
resolution color imaging, as these sample images from various ST-237 users
demonstrates. All of the images on this page were taken with the ST-237
(see pricing). The internal color filter wheel
(see pricing). The telescopes
used range from relatively inexpensive 8" SCTs up to the AstroWorks Centurion
18" f/2.8. These images have been reduced in size and resolution for
presentation on this web page.
