Horsehead Nebula by Adam Block
This high resolution composit of the Horsehead
Nebula was taken by Adam Block of the NOAO/AURA/NSF.
The image data was captured using an ST-10XME camera, CFW8A filter wheel and AO-7 Adaptive
Optics
unit on both a 16" and 20" RC Optical Systems telescope. The luminance
exposures totaled 170 minutes at full resolution.
The RGB exposures were 20 minutes each art medium resolution. All frames were
self-guided by the ST-10XME camera.
