NGC4565
William McLaughlin captured this LRGB color image of NGC4565, the
"Needle Galaxy" with an ST-8E camera and CFW8 filter wheel using a
12.5" RC scope reduced to f/6.7.  This was one of William's first images
taken with the enhanced detector after converting his ST-7 to an ST-8E
camera.  The image consists of three color shots through RGB filters plus
a greyscale frame.  The LRGB ratios used were: 25:10:13.5:22
